Our Yoh Theatre Players create worlds on stage through intensive exploration of text, acting skills, and technical design. While creating, this group embraces diversity and respects differing points of view, striving for individual growth and a healthy theatre community. Each player is encouraged to develop skills in all areas of the stage, including acting, lighting, sound, singing, dancing, costuming, stage managing, props, set design and building. Students are involved in design work, as well as programming lighting and sound cues, the hands-on work of building and painting, and managing performances.
Through this program, our players learn to work as a community, listening to others’ ideas, articulating thoughts, and valuing different perspectives.
All are welcome.
