Musical Theatre workshop

In October of both 2017 and 2018, students had the opportunity to work on their vocal technique with several music theatre professionals who were in residency at Artistree Community Arts Center in Pomfret.

Each student who chose to participate in this workshop spent several weeks preparing a chosen musical theatre song with Yoh Theatre Director Marcia Bender, and then had the opportunity to perform their song and receive 10-15 minutes of vocal coaching and audition tips from a professional actor and vocalist. Students were also professionally accompanied during the workshop experience.
